Custom Models used on the same material type not displaying

Hey All,

I have been fighting with this one all afternoon and have not found a definitive answer on how to solve the specific issue that I am having.

I have created several items (iron, diamond, and netherite longswords) who's stats are determined by MMOItems. So that makes the IA config pretty simple. The problem is, when I set them to Paper for instance, they all load the same model (the line closest to the end of the config) and do not seem to generate custommodeldata numbers for each item. I tried setting this manually by using ModelId but no change is shown. I would usually just use the sword variants for each but the issue is that I have several variations of each sword that I am working on, and the issue will persist if I use the WHATEVERMATERIAL_SWORD material once I add the next set. The weird thing is, I have done this before to get some cool 3d helmet models in, and they work perfectly fine.

Hey Tarma, can I see your json files and texture folder structure? Additionally, it may be worth trying "/iacleancache items" to make sure you don't have old data messing it up.

As for the folder system, heres a capture of the filezilla system

Each folder has its own texture file in it titled as such.

And finally here is a capture of all of their thumbnails to show that they are clearly not the same texture.

I super appreciate you getting back to me so fast on this man, I am at a loss. When I remove the netherite, everything defaults down to diamond and so on. I read online that it could be a predicate order issue, but I'm not really sure how to tackle that within IA. I should also say, I just ran the cleancache items command again to make sure I wasn't crazy and the issue still persists

That's certainly odd, I see no immediate issues based on that. Going to need a bit more information to get to the bottom of this. Could I get your servers startup log?

Additionally, can you run "/iacustommodeldata" for each item? and let me know the results.

Startup log

Please follow the steps below:

- Stop server

- Start server

- Wait until your server has fully started and players are able to join

- Go to your server files

- In your default directory, find the `logs` folder

- Download `latest.log`

- Send the log here

This log will help me get a full view of your servers setup, to better help identify the issue.

Verum I have resolved the issue! Something about the mmoitems tag makes them all turn into the highest weighted predicate of model! But if you remove the tag from IA and use it purely as a texture engine, it works just fine when you set the custom model data in MMOItems. Weird, but happy I have a workaround!

Verum Dude, that entire suite of plugins is funky AF, It seems like every "compatibility" they have is more of a "recommendation" than anything else. I've ran into issues with Beton Quests, Quests, Venture Chat, IA, and even some of their own suite only loading if its a beta test branch etc. I'm not sure what's up with their stuff but it always seems to be messing with other plugins.
