1.17 txt not working

Hello,
I have a server on versions 1.17 - 1.19.x
I have Paper 1.18.2 engine and when i try to join on 1.17.1 its loading my itemsadder texture pack for ever.
On 1.18 and 1.19 its perfectly working and i dont know what is the issue.

It's not like textures are not shown. When you join the server it cant load the texture pack and you are stuck in this forever. You have to restart your client. Server is made for 1.17 - 1.19.2 and for 1.18 and 1.19 its working but 1.17 is broken.

This happens if your resourcepack url is not valid and the game cannot download the resourcepack.

I was sent back with the same problem (https://forum.devs.beer/d/109-problem-with-re-entering-the-server) here and in no way can I manage to solve my problem.

Resourcepack is valid (seemingly how could it not be - I use an auto-external host).

I have checked - the problem occurs on all devices, not just my client.

I have complied with all recommendations.

I do not use skinsrestorer.

There are errors in Minecraft game output, and always have been - when I go to your test server, they appear too. I would very much like them not to be there, but I don't know why they occur when the textures load correctly.

It's currently down because of maintenance.
I have no control over the hosting since I don't own it.
They seem to are migrating to a new machine so this might take some hours.

Generally selfhost is preferred when possible to to its advantages and reliability.

Okey - I have switched to dropbox. It doesn't make a difference - the problem with resourcepack infinitely loading after exiting and entering the server still occurs.

you need to regenerate your pack and clear out your server texture pack folder in
%appdata%

also, make sure to check the config and file integrity on your server

I performed a New test. The problem is in the generated.zip file. Thats the cause of all.

In my case, i only have the items/pluguis of LoneDevs.

I will test one by one of the custom textures of LoneDevs. I will update soon this. To discard or not that the problem is generated by some textures of LoneDevs.

Well in my case the toast_announcements was generating problems. i deleted the folder ItemsAdder/contents/toast_announcements iazip,iareload, and now is ok

What it was exactly the problem?, really i dont know. But i think that could be due to the configuration i performed for this resource, anyway, i dont need any more.
