Converting :admin: to for ec. &a[&bAdmin&a]

Hi, I want to ask if its possible to change registering rank icons from :admin: to something like this &a[&bAdmin&a],

Please elaborate? Do you want your rank icon to show whenever you type &a[&bAdmin&a] in chat?

Or do you just want to show the text &a[&bAdmin&a] whenever you type :admin:?

Im using UltraPermissions plugin and i want that if ItemsAdder will dont work somehow my plugin will have default prefix for every group that i have

Yeah, there is certainly no way to do this at the moment.

Isnt it possible via PlaceholderAPI with Expansion that converts it? string [Owner] to :owner: and IA will recognize it and replace ?

Maybe that can work, but there is certainly no way that IA does this officially, whether you can do what you'd like to do with placeholder API or not is a slightly different situation, and out of my knowledge.

But as far as I know, with IA itself, you cannot change prefixes depending on if the player has loaded the texture pack or not.

It's not possible because it would require too much server processing, will cause performance issues.
That's why it uses a predefined set of characters : to identify placeholders, same method used by PlaceholderAPI which uses %.
