I have a bunch of content packs on our server, and I wanted to run a test because I'm struggling to understand the custom model data allocation. I put a custom texture on a sword, then deleted the pack from the resource pack folder, then after the restart ran /iazip.
Upon doing this, the sword texture changed to a different texture, from another pack. It wasn't just no texture, or a buggy texture, it was a DIFFERENT but working texture. Can you please explain to me why this is happening?
Following this, are we safe to delete unused packs? Say a furniture set that was never released, so nobody has any, is there any risk in removing this from the contents folder?
