Region Files

Hi, I'm having issues with my server opening too many itemsadder region files. However, it seems to only be in my nether world. Wild_nether/itemsadder/region/r.-4.-4.pregion. I have no custom IA blocks or anything in the world so I'm unsure why there is even an itemsadder folder in the world.

I'm hoping to open my server tomorrow and this just randomly started to happen today. Perhaps its because I'm using 1.20.1 but recently updated to the latest Itemsadder? I'm not sure… the server spams console after 2 hours of running with these too many files open error.

I downgraded back to 3.5.1 and it fixed the issue. However, I'm still unsure what was causing it.

loshg Does anyone know if it's possible to remove the region files for Itemsadder entirely?

I didn't change anything from 3.5.1 to 3.6.0 about region files, so the issue probably would have occurred also on the old version.
You have to disable custom blocks in config.yml if you want to disable custom region files, but it has no sense since you would lose the custom blocks ability as itemsadder could not have where to save custom blocks data.

Can you provide more details about the issue?
Like how do you know it has too many files opened? Be more specific and provide all the info you have.
