Hi there.

I've purchased ItemsAdder purely just for the image ranks prefixes.

I have read this wiki page and have followed the tip: "Don't change the rank image height! Change only the width or the image will look pixelated!" So I have kept my image at 9px height.

However when i've added the image to the resource pack and use it in chat, it looks pixelated like so?

You changed something which caused the image to look pixelated, probably edited the image height.
Set scale_ratio: 9 in the configuration and make sure the png image height is actually 9px.
